Roster Rotations
00:00: The roster module helps you to keep track of your crew in a calendar like screen.
00:04: You can select timelines for specific crew members and mark their status
00:08: together with the flexus crew app for smartphones and tablets.

00:14: The Roster is where you will manage crew and staff availability and time
00:18: off, as well as events that may affect duty beyond flight assignments,

01:15: “reserve” in the U.S. is often associated with Standby.

01:22: so we will assign her to this role.
01:25: We will also assign her to a specific aircraft tail in order to better visualize crew
01:29: and Fleet availability and to prepare the system for auto assignments.
01:33: When flights are booked on that aircraft
01:36: We’re building a 15 on and 15 off rotation.
01:39: So here we can note that we are assigning 15 days on and click the
01:43: orange button to create the roster assignment.
01:45: If you made a mistake and see 14 or 16 days, for example, you can
01:49: adjust the begin or end date to achieve your desired assignment.
01:53: Now let’s drag across the subsequent 15 days to create the days off
01:58: Select “Off” for the Roster event and confirm the dates are correct.
02:03: Then click the orange button to assign, in this case 15 daily blocks

02:08: In the month view. Let’s now highlight all of the duties 15 on and 15

02:14: Once highlighted, we can copy of block of roster events to another crew
02:18: member.
02:20: Start typing the crew member’s name and select him or her from the list. Note
02:25: that this will copy the event, including role and aircraft, to the other crew
02:29: member. We will copy this rotation to Pancho Barnes.
02:33: Save your current roster changes to preserve updates.
02:37: Access the data roster view to continue scheduling tasks.
02:41: For more precision and focus, we can search for a specific pilot.
02:45: Let’s focus on Amelia Earhart and set up her roster to repeat
02:49: to a fixed date.
02:51: First confirm, that the correct Duties are selected in this case, 15,
02:55: on and 15 off events from the drop-down list directions.

03:03: We will assume that rotations are built on a quarterly basis and repeat her
