00:13: The Custom Task Management feature in FLEX allows operators to: Create

00:25: There are three types of tasks available. Default tasks are automatically

00:34: are predefined tasks that can be retrieved when needed.

00:44: Now, let’s see how system administrators can create and manage tasks
00:49: Navigate to Settings.
00:51: Select Flight Setup Defaults and open the Tasks Defaults panel.
00:56: Click the + Add a task button.
00:59: Enter the task name.

02:01: Locate the Tasks Panel in the Flight Strip. Open the Tasks Panel

02:09: You’ll see separate sections for departure and arrival tasks.
02:14: Each task has a color-coded status indicator to track progress.
02:18: To update a task, simply selected status from the drop-down menu.

02:32: Not required. Users performing the tasks, can also add
02:36: inputs such as notes and additional documentation.
02:40: Remember that tasks created in settings that are not mandatory for all flights
02:44: are called template tasks. They can be retrieved in the task panel of the
02:48: flight strip by clicking the arrow next to the add task button in the departures
02:53: or arrivals section.
02:55: Select the template task from the list, to apply it to the flight.
02:58: Status will automatically be set to do meaning, it requires immediate
03:02: attention.
03:04: Need to create a one-time task for a flight?
03:07: Click the + Add Task button.
03:10: Enter a title and description. Select a section and attach files
03:14: if needed.
03:16: Click “Add Task”, and the task will be added instantly.
03:20: New ad hoc tasks are automatically set to do meaning.

03:26: A summary of your task status will appear in the flight strip to show the number of
03:30: tasks completed. In this example, 0 of 1 task is
03:34: completed for the departure and 2 of 2 tasks are completed for
03:38: the arrival
03:40: What about flights that were created? Before the feature was released, we’ve
03:44: got you covered. Users can load default tasks into an existing
03:48: flight if an administrator has already set them up.
03:51: Alternatively, users can create ad hoc tasks for older flights
03:55: as needed.
03:57: As a Sales Representative, you may need to assign tasks for your team to follow up.
04:01: No problem! You can do this directly from the Sales Module.
04:05: Navigate to the Flight Details section in the Sales Module.
04:09: Locate and open the Tasks Panel in the Flight Strip.
