Add an Aircraft
00:00: This guide will walk you through the process of adding an aircraft in the flex application.
00:04: The aircraft module and flex is where you add and manage aircraft in your Fleet
00:08: including crew, configurations operational, performance pricing amenities
00:13: maintenance and more. Follow these steps to grow your Fleet and
00:17: flex.
00:18: Navigate to the aircraft module, let’s build a new aircraft click, the green
00:22: plus new button on the top of the left land list.
00:25: Name your aircraft, visit free text field so that you can choose a historic name, like
00:29: Amelia’s the canary. Or as most operators, do name it by the type
00:34: of aircraft. The name does appear on customer and passenger facing templates,
00:38: like manifests and is a good place to distinguish between types of aircraft.
00:42: That may share the same Iko type such as an ER, version of an aircraft.
00:46: You will notice that the fields required to create an active, aircraft are in yellow.
00:50: It is required to select an AOC for the aircraft.
00:53: Even, if you do not have a certificate number, your primary and often
00:57: only AOC will have been created when building your instance,
01:01: Select the AOC from the list, the list pulls from your ASC and
01:05: sub modules to add a subtractor aircraft.
01:08: You must first add the subtitle AOC, if it does not already exist in

01:14: Enter your aircraft icao type. Most aircraft have default
01:18: profiles built based on Eye Care types.
01:20: In that case, many of the required Fields will be pre-populated for your revision.
01:26: As cabin crew are dictated by regulation on larger aircraft and also by

01:32: This field must be entered for each aircraft.

02:11: You can associate an account to its aircraft in the owner account field.
02:15: The account must already have been built in the accounts module to be
02:19: available in this drop-down list.
02:22: The owner of the aircraft may also be listed on the aircraft page in
02:26: the event of multiple owners like for a fractional share, multiple persons can
02:30: be added to an account on the account module, and the account added, as the owner
02:35: account.
02:36: If an aircraft may not be used for Charter or commercial flights, it must be
02:40: listed as private. This will prevent the aircraft from being available for Charter or
02:44: commercial workflows when bookings are created likewise to be available
02:48: for charter, flights. The aircraft must be listed as commercial and the aircraft page.
02:53: You may select the systems available on your aircraft that you want to manage and flex
02:57: such as Apu Hobs and more.
03:01: You may enter instrument approach categories.
03:04: Select the acoustic group for your aircraft from the drop-down list.
03:09: Select the type of pricing you will use.
03:11: You can edit the price module in the aircraft page.
03:14: The pricing engine however must be configured by an administrator
03:18: in your settings.
