Navigating in FL3XX: The Menu Bar
00:00: The menu bar gives you access to the entire functionality of FL3XX. Depending on
00:04: your access rights, you might not be able to see all entries displayed in the overview.
00:08: The menu bar is separated into two parts.
00:11: On the left side, you have the operational areas,
00:14: beginning with Sales. As the name implies, this module includes
00:18: sales related workflows from quoting through invoicing.
00:23: Next is dispatch, home for all ground and flight ops workflows.
00:26: This module is ideal for ops team members
00:29: preparing the next day’s operation in ensuring that all tasks are green/ok
00:33: as the team works towards being ready to release a flight. It’s
00:37: also a powerful view for reconciling discrepancies, such as post flight
00:41: times, by filtering for aircraft and sorting by date.
00:45: The timeline includes four views, flights crew, calendar and bookings.
00:50: The flight section in the timeline. Module provides, a comprehensive overview of
00:54: all your flights, including both confirmed, bookings and available options.
00:58: The crew timeline displays the duties of crew members in a calendar, view
01:02: timeline, calendar functions. Similarly to the flights timeline, the
01:06: key difference lies in the presentation of the aircraft schedule.
01:10: Rather than a horizontal Gantt, chart view the schedule is now displayed vertically,
01:14: the purpose of the bookings timeline is to monitor the payment status
01:18: of upcoming bookings.
01:20: The roster module helps you to keep track of your crew in a calendar like
01:24: screen. You can select timelines for specific crew members and mark
01:28: their status together with the flexus crew app for smartphones and
01:32: tablets. You can keep your crew in the loop.
01:36: Licenses gives you an overview over the status of your Crews’
01:39: licenses, trainings, qualifications, and endorsements.
01:44: The Staff module is home to license and qualifications records for all
01:48: staff members.
01:50: The Reports module is a great tool for managers and anyone who enjoys seeing
01:54: your company’s progress in numbers. Statistics, reports, lists,
01:59: and graphs shed light on the many sides of your business.
02:01: Its main features are: bookings and flights reports, duty and
02:05: flight time violations, pilot logging, maintenance discrepancies, and more.
02:10: The FL3XX Docs module allows you to upload, organize, and distribute operational
02:15: documents efficiently while ensuring compliance and staff acknowledgment.
02:19: Now let’s shift to the right side of the menu that is more static. Persons
02:23: gives you access to all the people in the system, both internal (staff) and
02:27: external (customers, passengers, etc).
02:30: Here, you can manage Personal Data, Employee Data, Passenger Preferences,
02:34: Contacts, Addresses, IDs & Visas, and Vaccinations.
02:38: This is also where user access rights are controlled by your company administrators.
02:43: Accounts are all corporate entities in you instance.
02:47: The Airports module provides airport IDs, customs information, runway
02:51: dimensions and declared distances, service providers, and more.
02:55: Select default FBOs, Add fuel prices and improve
02:59: your team’s communication with editable operational notes.
03:03: The Aircraft module features a detailed set of operational parameters
03:07: and aircraft data, allowing FL3XX to automate many features and warnings.
03:13: In addition to these basic parameters, pricing is managed in this page
03:17: as well as a comprehensive structure for airport fees.
03:21: The Maintenance section will include engine and airframe hours, maintenance events
03:25: lists, and discrepancies.
03:28: FL3XX gives you the flexibility to manage several AOCs
03:31: under one roof. You can assign your aircraft to the respective AOC, and
03:35: enter some basic settings. The most prominent part here are the
03:39: Settings for Flight Time Limitations. Each of your AOCs can have different rules,
03:43: all monitored by the FL3XX FTL system in parallel.
03:48: Lastly, the Sub module is where you will enter the operator name and country
03:52: of the subcharter companies you use to sell trips off fleet.
